Q: Where is the Five Talents International office located?
A: We are based in Vienna, Virginia, outside of Washington, D.C. We also have an office in the United Kingdom, outside of London (www.FiveTalents.org.uk).

Q: How can I help promote the Five Talents Fellows Program?
A: Download and post a Five Talents Fellows poster.

Q: Is my application due by the deadline or should it be postmarked by that date?
A: Applications should arrive to Five Talents by that date. (Monday, March 2, 2009, for the Class of 2009.)

Q: Who should I address my application to?
A: Applications should be addressed to the Fellows Program Admissions Committee.

Q: When will I be notified about the application decision?
A: You will hear from us by Monday, March 16, 2009.

Q: Does Five Talents provide stipends or scholarships for Fellows?
A: Not at this time.

Q: Can I fundraise to pay for the costs of the fellowship?
A: Yes. You will also receive some tips on successful support-raising from Five Talents.

Q: Who can be a Fellow?
A: Characteristics of a successful Fellow can be found with the description of the program. In the first year, we will accept applications from the United States and the United Kingdom. In the future, we hope to broaden our pool of applicants.

Q: Does Five Talents provide housing?
A: No. However, upon acceptance, the local partner office will assist you with finding suitable housing.

Q: If there a minimum age to be a Fellow?
A: Applicants should be at least 21 years old and have an undergraduate degree.

Q: Will Five Talents help me secure a visa?
A: Fellows will be responsible for obtaining a current passport and visa(s) before June. While it is the Fellow’s responsibility to obtain the relevant documents, Five Talents staff will provide assistance in the process by providing required invitation paperwork. Fellows will also need to make sure they are current with immunizations and other travel health needs.
