Five Talents' 2010-2011 Annual Report is now available to download.
Because Five Talents recently changed its fiscal year to end on June 30, this report spans 18 months -- from January 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011.
Inside its pages, you will find letters from Dr. April Young, Chair of the Board, and Craig Cole, President and CEO. You will find stories and summaries about our programs in Africa, Asia and Latin America. And, of course, you will find up-to-date numbers and financial figures that reflect the impact of Five Talents' innovative microfinance programs.
Since its formation in 1998, Five Talents has funded more than 120,000 loans and offered a unique mix of microcredit and savings programs, business training and spiritual development in a total of 22 countries. We are currently working in 11 countries on three continents.
"We are particularly excited about a Literacy and Financial Education Program (LFEP) that is being implemented in Burundi and South Sudan with the hopes of helping more than 40,000 poor individuals over the next three to four years," said President and CEO Craig Cole.
"In our LFEP curriculum, we ask the women and men to look – really look – and see themselves as God sees them, as having an abundance of ability. This is an important message for all of us."
