Five Talents' external accreditations help to assure our donors and other constituents that the way we use funds to fight poverty, create jobs and transform lives for the world’s poor is honorable both to God and to others (2 Cor. 8:21).
Since Scriptural standards are fundamental to our business training and spiritual development programs for poor entrepreneurs, it makes sense that they would apply to our internal operations as well.
These standards, as well as best practices, relate to doctrinal issues, governance, transparency, conflicts of interest, financial systems, and fundraising. You can read in more detail about these standards here.
Our other certifications, which you can read about below, reflect Five Talents’ serious commitment to being engaged in microfinance and enterprise development; the field of philanthropy; and partners who are also working in these realms.
