Five Talents is honored to host award-winning author and Anglican priest Tish Harrison Warren to discuss her new book, What Grows in Weary Lands: On Christian Resilience. The book covers the difficult topics of when God seems to abandon the soul and what it means to be resilient in faith even amidst times of deep languishing. In addition to her books, Tish is also a featured opinion writer, with work appearing in global outlets such as The New York Times and Christianity Today.

 

Join us for an inspiring evening as Warren offers a fresh vision for navigating weariness, alongside powerful stories of resilience and God’s goodness from Five Talents entrepreneurs around the world.

 

The evening will include:

- Keynote by Tish Harrison Warren

- Remarks by Five Talents CEO Liz Ha

- Q&A session

- Book signing and hors d’oeuvres

 

Individual admission is $25, or you may purchase a table for 10 guests for $250. All are welcome. The first 200 guests to register will receive a copy of What Grows in Weary Lands.

About Tish Harrison Warren

Tish Harrison Warren is the author of Liturgy of the Ordinary, which was named Christianity Today’s Book of the Year, and Prayer in the Night, which received both Christianity Today’s Book of the Year and the ECPA Christian Book of the Year honors. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Christianity Today, Comment Magazine, The Point Magazine, and other outlets. She serves as the C. S. Lewis Theological Writer-in-Residence for the Anglican Episcopal House of Studies at Baylor University’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary. She is a senior fellow with the Trinity Forum and an assisting priest at Immanuel Anglican Church. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband and their three children.
