We are pleased to welcome Irene Nyambura, Five Talents' Program Advisor for the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to the U.S. for a special event highlighting our Savings Group program in DRC. Five Talents launched its DRC program in 2018 in Aru — in the northeast part of the country — offering training in literacy, numeracy, saving, business, and gender-based violence prevention.
Our September gathering will offer a closer look at how local communities are building resilience and creating new opportunities through financial literacy and social empowerment. Follow Trotter Road into the Virginia Theological Seminary campus and continue toward the Addison Academic Center. Parking is available near the building and is free; no parking pass is required.
