Zambia is a landlocked country in south-central Africa situated on a high plateau and is home to Victoria Falls — a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World — on its southern border with Zimbabwe.
Primary education in Zambia is compulsory, and more than two-thirds of Zambia adults are literate. Still, the majority of the country’s labor force works in agriculture.
The country’s population is relatively young, with nearly half of all Zambians under the of age 15. Zambia’s death rate is among the highest in the world, and life expectancy in Zambia is below the global average, both due in part to the prevalence of HIV/AIDS in the country.
Five Talents formed a new partnership with the Zambia Anglican Council Outreach Program (ZACOP), launching a program in April 2026 to work across all five Anglican dioceses in the country: Central Zambia, Eastern Zambia, Luapula, Lusaka, and Northern Zambia.
In extending the invitation to partner in Zambia, The Most Rev. Dr. Albert Chama, Archbishop of the Church of the Province of Central Africa and Presiding Bishop of Zambia Anglican Council, said:
"We recognize that poverty, inequality, and lack of access to basic services are significant challenges that hinder the development of our people. We seek to contribute to improving livelihoods by enhancing the economic well-being of vulnerable households using the model that you are using at Five Talents.
Our partnership will promote economic empowerment by equipping participants with basic business skills and entrepreneurship knowledge and enhance their economic prospects."

Over the years, we’ve discovered a wealth of treasure in the Parable of the Talents. That’s why we’ve prepared this free guide to Matthew 25, featuring reflections from pastors and Christian leaders.
