Five Talents Hires East Africa-Based Head of Partner Training and Mentoring

We’re excited to share that Claudette Kigeme has joined the Five Talents Global Program Team as Head of Partner Training and Mentoring. Claudette brings a wealth of experience and expertise as a community trainer and program coordinator, having previously held the role of Provincial Coordinator of Mothers’ Union Burundi for 27 years.

In starting her new role, Claudette reflected:

“In Ecclesiastes 3 verse 1 it says, there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. As I take up this new role, I am mindful of the privilege I have had to work for nearly three decades in Burundi, serving communities through the work of Mothers Union — so much to celebrate and be thankful for. But I am also excited to now begin this new chapter, supporting Five Talents’ program growth across the region. My hope and prayer is that many more women and families will have the opportunity to participate in the transforming work of literacy and savings groups.”

In welcoming Claudette to their new role based in East Africa, Liz Ha, Five Talents USA CEO, said:

"We are thrilled to welcome Claudette to our team. She brings a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience serving marginalized communities through her work with Mothers’ Union. Her expertise will strengthen our training and facilitation efforts with literacy and savings groups as we continue equipping communities for lasting social and economic empowerment. As Five Talents continues to grow, Claudette’s leadership will help us expand our reach and strengthen families and communities across the region."
